■Aberstwyth Town profile
Aberstwyth is a University town of about 12,000 people located six hours (by train) West of London, facing the scenic Cardigan Bay. The primary industries include tourism, commerce and agriculture while the presence of Wales University and the National Library attract thousands of students, including many from overseas.
The town has a pleasant rural atmosphere with scenic brick architecture, and its impressive ocean views have made it a popular tourist destination, particularly vibrant in the summer months.
